01. You think leaving early means reaching home before 9 PM.

02. You keep pressing "9" first when making phone calls from home.

03. You know your clients' extensions by heart but have to consult your cell phone to call your friends.

04. You have to take a half-day leave to watch a Linkin Park concert that starts at 8 PM.

05. You have to clear 10 days of last year's annual leave before end of the month.

06. Only you can't because the current project will be in UAT phase on the first of next month.

07. It's 6 PM and you tell your boss, "No problem. I'll do the report and send it to you before end of the day."

08. Of course, "end of the day" means 23:59.

09. The last meaningful conversation you had was with a friend 6 time-zones behind on Yahoo! Messenger.

10. A colleague tells you tomorrow is a public holiday and you exclaim, "It is? Didn't we just have one two months ago?"

11. You clip your fingernails in the office toilet every week.

12. You want to come up with 10 signs you've been working too hard and end up with 12.

12a. All of the above actually come from your own experience and are not just a copy-and-paste job. No, really.

I stopped at 12a there. But I'll continue with two more here.

13. You start to look for a less stressful, less demanding job only to worry later on that you'll be bored to death.

14. You're typing this at work. And just look at the time below.

Enough about work. Since I've been so good at it lately, my predictions for this morning would be: France through, England out. What, wishful thinking? Nah, wishful thinking would be: France and England both out.
