This is it, hope I don't stay up for nothing. BTW, what's with the all-red?

Gosh, Maldini is still one of my soccer idols, but that quickest goal ever in the competition's history? Was a mood killer, that.

You can always count on Riise for such setup. Oh, Sami! Damn!

Yeah, typical of Pool, attacks with no real threats.

Poor Kewell.

Luis Garcia, hero of the minute.

You know what would be funny? That Baros would get pumped up with all these tifosi chanting "Milan! Milan!" (All right, lame joke. But it's 3 in the morning, what do you expect?)

Inadvertently Attentive

Damn, I really have watched too much Amazing Race! This morning on the bus a guy asked if I could spare a dollar to pay for his ride. My first thought: err, were you just through a non-elimination leg, sir?

Only it was not my first thought. In fact, I can't recall what that was. It was only when I reached my office did I reflect on the experience. Then, I thought of the above. Ah, the beauty of blogs.

No, seriously. Where else can you write "Today we kinda ran into each other again. Coincidence? Or was it Mr. Fate J. Smith having a hand? Either way. She looked stunning -- not like she's ever not, of course. As our eyes met, she smiled this little smile of hers and my heart skipped a beat. Damn, was she pretty! Anyone who had been there would've definitely felt the connection between us, so strong the amorous air was. I'm telling you, one of these days I will ask her out" while what actually took place was the two of you simply exchanging nods at the office's water cooler?

How do you know you've been watching too much Amazing Race? In a Hyperion QIQ training the instructor mentioned ESM and you immediately thought: Eat, Sleep, and Mingle.

Speaking of the devil, the finale was very well edited -- what else should you expect from an Emmy-winning team -- and boy were the last 15 mins exciting! The outcome could've been decided by better means, though. I mean, come on! Uch and J happened to have a driver who happened to ask for directions in Spanish.

(For the record, the aforementioned ESM actually stands for Editable Source Master.)
