Boys Are Always Boys

It's so far been a good weekend. In fact, I have to say, this has got to be my best in a while.

Finally stepped on the basketball court again -- the first time in 2006 -- and went crazy. I arrived at nine (a record) and didn't leave until almost one (also a record).

Also a first in this young year, a jamming session. Sang my heart out -- yup, you read that one right, yours truly on vocals -- and had a great time with the old guys.

Aaand, check this out, Liverpool beat Manchester United for the first time in FA Cup in 85 years. Watched the match at Dempsey's Hut with two native Yorkers -- ManU fans. Some experience that was. "Look, he bled so much his jersey turned red!" You tell me how to respond to that statement. Great guys -- sorry, I mean lads. Even greater, drinks were on them.

Today, watched some unbelievable dunks in bed with whole body aching, shoulders burning from the sun, and voice going somewhere, I stayed in my room. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

Wigan just scored, though. There goes my clean-sheet bonus. But hey, can't have anything your way, can you?

Speaking of unbelievable dunks, check out what ESPN wrote on their website:
Notice anything?

It's tough being a boy my age. You're finally able to afford many of the toys you've always wanted. Yet, you hardly have time to play with them. Makes you wonder if singlehood is the real bliss.
