Sunday morning, Guys. Nothing much to jot down, actually, so I'd just throw in random stuff -- back to blogging's most ordinary form, if I may.

First things first, happy birthday to Mr. Bison and Ms. Vyrna. All things good to you and family. As always, good luck with that stuff you now do.

You know, it turns out I don't watch TV at all, post WC. Amazing, as I always rush back to my room on Monday to catch Star World's host of sitcoms. And no, this is not a conscious crack at avoiding TV.

A bad trait of yours truly: I just don't cotton to population implying I should do this, shouldn't do that.

"I want you to stay away from Ami."

"Huh?" Bryan stopped what he was doing -- securing the tent's guy ropes to the stakes -- and looked at his companion. "What's that, Buddy?"

Tama looked very serious. "Stay away from Ami."

Bryan nearly laughed, then thought better of it. "But why?"

Finding out that your ex-GF still uses the nickname you gave her light-years (which is a unit to measure distance, really, not time -- but bear with me, please) ago, should you take it as a compliment?

Yesterday, a middle-aged lady approached me at the train station with a piece of paper. Well, if you're from around, you know it's common.

Here's what she gave me, though:

Coba tebak, gua tiga hari doang di Jakarta kok ya dua harinya sakit. Berhubung Endul en Bokap baru minggu lalu en minggu lalunya keluar dari RS -- demam berdarah -- sempet bikin panik Nyokap. Maaf ya, Teman-Teman, nggak sempet ketemu-ketemu.

Tapi selaen sakit itu, mudik kali ini menyenangkan sekali. Sempet nyobain Tol Cipularang. Sempet juga nyobain X-Trans. Sempet nonton Srimulat, yang tetep aja kocak, padahal bahannya itu-itu mulu dari dulu. Sempet nonton Indonesian Idol yang finalisnya keren-keren. Sempet ngeliat tampangnya Roy Suryo -- akhirnya! -- yang lagi serius menjelaskan tentang situs porno Indonesia. Sempet nakal juga, sesuai petunjuk Ibu Dettol.

Months ago, I was privileged to receive an invitation to an old friend's wedding. I was looking forward, I have to admit, to attending this particular event. Not only did the groom and I go back a rather long way, but knowing him, I also expected a surprise or two.

In the end, it was due to my own personal commitments that I was unable to attend and I had to resort to sending them my well wishes from afar.

And so, I got a mutual friend who did attend to fill me in.

Update Mailing lists' settings to No Email -- check. BTW, if it's No Email, would it still be called a mailing list?

Green cabin bag for the incoming Indonesian snacks and food (moms know best) -- check.
