Who is Mr Bigfeet? All the Five Find-Outers know is that he is a thief who seems able to slip in and out of houses without being seen -- yet he leaves the most enormous footprints! Once again it is a battle of wits between the young detectives and P.C. Goon. It is also a battle of disguises...

The story opens with Pip complaining about being in the fourth week of the summer holidays without a trace of a mystery. Imagine that -- what a torture! Well, the good news is that they have eight weeks of holidays; plenty of time left for a proper mystery, I say. Such spoiled kids -- eight weeks of doing nothing and you're complaining?! Get out!

All right, so my fav team won The Amazing Race -- with me still being unable to tell the who from the other who. But somehow the ending wasn't satisfactory. Or rather, the final episode wasn't.

For one, it was only an hour long, what's with that? Even my morning run lasted longer, geez!

Ikutan Pacarku en orang-orang ah. Tadinya mau ngopi abis judul entrinya Jeng May, cuma sekolahan gua dulu mendistorsi kata "kawin" sampe artinya beda ama "nikah" jadi yah, gitu deh.

Milis-milis udah sibuk ngebahas dari sudut poligaminya. Blog-blog udah pegel ngebahas dari sudut kasiannya si istri pertama. Jeng May udah tuntas ngebahas dari sudut idol-idolannya. Jadi sekarang gua mau ngebahas dari sudut yang agak beda dikit: Gym-nya.

This book was one of my favs in the Famous Five series and this time I recall why. I told you, of course.

Seems like all Famous Five books I pick up start with Anne and George receiving a letter at school. This time, it's from Julian. The boys get a few days off -- some nerds won a scholarship or something -- to coincide with the girls' half-term weekend. So, Julian asks his sis and cousin to join him and Dick "in a hike" -- the title says "on a hike" and the book says "in a hike"? Isn't English a confusing language!

Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2006

It's finally over!

Going by my REAL Run time, I targeted 2 hours and 30 minutes. My watch showed 2:25 when I completed the 21.1 km, so I'm currently a proud man. Never mind that it took one Mr Amos Tirop Matui 10 minutes less to finish his full marathon.

Couple that with Liverpool winning -- away (!) -- 4-0. So, yeah, I'm most definitely a happy man, even if not the most sober.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have aching muscles everywhere to rest. At times like this, a wife may come handy *winks*.

Nah, I haven't got a wife yet. But the official results are out! I officially clocked 2h:23m:31s, averaged 8.8 Kph, ranked 2200th out of 6165 half-marathon finishers, and finished 54 mins and 15 seconds behind the female winner. Oh well, at least I still ran faster than 68% of the female competitors.
