Was about to call it Year in Review, but thanks to SportsCenter, I am now officially sick of that title. Another rerun on my TV and I will be as focused on coaching and training as Rafa.

So, 2007 is leaving us tonight. Another fast year for me; it seems like only days have passed since our 2007 countdown at The Pandas'. Yet, looking back now, I feel the virtual rapidness is well justified, given the many events that have taken place in my personal life.

But killing? Way gayer. In fact, it's beyond gay.

Here's an excerpt of a convo taking place recently -- translated and dramatized in a true blogger's style for your reading pleasure (or annoyance), it goes without saying:

"Oh yeah, blogging is so gay!"

"And why's that?"

"No reason." With a shrug.

"Dude, you don't judge something as being gay without reasons."

"So sentence me, Judge."

"F-Y-I, Mister, the most popular blogs generate millions of hits daily. People love them. Some even make money blogging full-time."

"Gay."

Ignore the title. I was about to start writing another smart-behind entry -- something to do with cards and such -- when this guy rang our doorbell and asked me to sign for this special delivery, ordered all the way from Indonesia. The item? A bouquet of flowers.

Flowers, I ask you! Oh, the humanity!

I am still of the opinion that blogging isn't cool anymore. Actually, to me, it went from geeky (only geeks blogged) to lame (only people with nothing better to do blogged) to cool (mrbrown blogged) to meh (what-ever) to lame (only sissies blog) again.

But as Facebook starts to bore -- there are only so many vampires you can attack, so many superpowers you can steal, and so many cars you can race -- and holiday mood starts kickin' -- half of my department are already gone -- I thought, a'ight, perhaps I should just shut up and blog.

Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2007

I still don't feel so much of a blogger these days. Even this site's URL, let alone its MT page, has disappeared from my browser's history, long unopened. But something like this I don't let pass by without informing the whole world.

The event was still fun, albeit being sans the colorful costumes it usually has. I did overtake a runaway bride -- she wore a wedding dress and held a bouquet of whatever, what else should I have assumed? -- and high-five Spider-Man, but that was all there was to it.

Much, much more people participated this year and many times I had to pull off my best Jakartan Driver maneuver to squeeze through the traffic. A God-thanking time -- haven't done that in a while, have I -- for our magical city. Seriously, man, I think we need wider roads or more petite runners.

I tasked myself with bettering last year's 2h:23m:31s. If my watch didn't lie, I achieved that. But let's wait for the official results before we get too excited, shall we? Because... uh, BRB, phone...

Guess what, that was a musician friend, reminding me that we have a rehearsal today. Today. Of all days *sighs. I'm starting to think I've bitten more than I could strum. Well, at least one's down. See how the other two go.

All right, for a guy wanting to have less to do with blogs, I sure write a lot. Enjoy more photos here. I did wonder, you know, if I was the one running, how did those two get into more pictures? Kids these days *shakes head*.
